Advance-Nilfisk Parts - Imagine how long and tedious it will actually be to tidy up right after a party, with out help from machines. Not too long ago, the dust from upholstery and carpets had to be beat out of them manually; brushes, cleaning cloths and brooms were the best cleaning products during that time.
The man who founded Nilfisk-Advance, P.A. Fisker, began as an electrical engineer who really liked to work on electrical motors. After establishing his business in the year 1906, he began to make motors to drive coffee grinders, fans, machine tools and drills. Mr. Fisker's dream from the start was to have a global business selling goods globally.
The Nilfisk C1 was a remarkable breakthrough for the cleaning business. This ground breaking vacuum cleaner, invented by Mr. Fisker, weighed only 17.5 kilos and could be operated by one person. This invention came in a time where numerous cleaning machines were massive and needed at least 4 operators, thus, the Nilfisk C1 changed everything and developed the method we clean forever. The genius behind these very first cleaning machines remains unparalleled. Cleaning machines provide a brilliant solution to an ongoing dilemma; things get dirty and have to be cleaned frequently, without too much effort.
Slowly but steadily, Nilfisk-Advance expanded through the years. In the 1980s, this growth really took place when the business became a part of the NKT Group. Their new owners' determination and concentration made Nilfisk-Advance take a huge leap forward within the trade, trying to be among the leading international players in the market of professional cleaning machines. Nilfisk-Advance is currently located in all parts of the globe by steadily acquiring a lot of smaller companies in order to expand their product selection and presence in new markets.
