Hyster

Hyster forklifts have many standard and optional feature to make each and every machine safer for the driver and other personnel in the work place. Some of the features available are audible devices, safety lights, ergonomic operator compartments and operator restraint systems.

To be able to help alert others of an approaching or nearby forklift, visual safety devices such as strobe lights can help. There is a low-mounted strobe light that includes a shield to help prevent the light shining into the driver's eyes.

Reverse operation alarms are examples of audible warning devices that automatically sound when the lift truck is backing up. This will help to alert other pedestrians and staff of the presence lift truck. A rear drive handle with horn enables the driver's hand to be secure when backing-up. This inboard handle protects the driver's hand in case of impact and the handle includes a horn which allows the operator to sound the horn without moving their hand to the main steering wheel.

In case of a lift truck flip over, operator restraint systems help to keep the lift truck driver's head and torso inside the cab of the lift truck to help prevent serious injury. Hip Restraints and Anti-Cinch Seat Belt are basic features on all kinds of Hyster/Yale forklifts. For older Hyster/Yale forklifts, safety restraint systems are available for installation on most units.

The Hyster StanDrive E30-40HSD2 series of forklifts offers superb ergonomics. Available in 4,000 or 3,000 pound capacities, these kinds of trucks are really durable and versatile, as well as ergonomically designed to improve driver comfort and enhance production. To increase operator visibility and comfort, the controls enable the driver to stand at 45 degrees or in side-stance.
